Airsplat return issue - P99 airsoft pistol

Ordered 3 guns direct from Airsplat , It arrived in a box all wrapped together. Opened box noticed pistol silencer was broken off barrel still in pkg. I emailed airsplat and they responded stating I could send it back for review and refund or repair/replacement. Thats the same policy if you simply dont like it. Sounds nice but mine arrived broken and they still expected me to pay return shipping so they could review it. I"m guessing not a lot of returns this way as a $20 gun cost $11 to return it for a refund exchange even if it arrives broke. That's pathetic! States file a claim w/Ups but the exterior pkg was fine and the gun was evidently broken when it was put in the box so no recourse there. The cheap barrel was already mounted which put stress on the barrel in the pkg. Bad idea! Of course the gun is cheap. All the more reason to pack the silencer separately. I guess I'm the fool for not buying local.

We have had the SAME experience with AIRSPLAT.com. We have placed 3 different orders. 2 of the 3 orders were incorrect and/or broken/missing parts. The first time my son blindly paid the 11 fee. I'm still fighting to have them pay so that I can get the correct product that I ordered. I have spoken 3 different times with customer service and asked EACH time to speak with a supervisor. The supervisors are ALWAYS too busy and I have to give my number so they can call me back. I am still waiting for a callback. DO NOT USE AIRSPLAT. They don't stand behind their product and they don't have good customer service.

We regret to hear of the issues that this customer has faced.

We do ship all items in the condition in which they are received from the manufacturer. We have also already filed a claim for a damaged package with the shipper (UPS). Even though the outside shipping box is not damaged, it is conceivable that the item could have been jostled enough for the item to break. We do comply with all shipping and packaging regulations that UPS currently enforces.
